Butterfly/Star of David necklace is hand made in the US by Kim Ben-Israel and is made of cubic Zirconia over sterling and is available in 3 finishes--sterling silver, gold plate over silver or rose gold plate over silver. Comes with a adjustable chain from 16" up to 18" in length. The significance of the BUTTERFLY/STAR OF DAVID NECKLACE is that in the time of the Spanish Inquisition, forced Jewish converts to Catholicism who secretly practiced Judaism (Marrano's or "Secret/Crypto Jews" wore the pendant of butterflies outside the home, but which forms a Star of David when closed when they were in their own community at home.
