Product Overview
Paradise ketubah by Patty S. Leve measures 17" x 22.5". This ketubah depicts the lushness of paradise. The pomegranates and grapes, fruits which figure prominently in Jewish tradition and symbolism, both represent fertility. The arch in the ketubah is a parallel to the chuppah, the marriage canopy that transforms two people into one couple about to begin a new life together. Within the arch are excerpts from the sixth and seventh blessings recited at the wedding ceremony, which describe the Garden of Eden and the joys of the bride and groom. The phrase "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine" is taken from the "Song of Songs," and is a declaration of faith and love between husband and wife. Price includes personalization.
