Rare find...Handmade in the U.S. ceramic menorah by Susan Garson and Tom Pakele. The menorah measures 10" x 8.5" Highly glazed, colorful with two sided detailing. One side features two by two animals including lions, deer, rabbits, zebra and giraffes. Noah's ark entrance is featured on top with a dove underneath. The other side features white and gray clouds in a blackish sky with the a roiling sea below. Garson-Pakele are a husband and wife team who incorporate whimsical imagery into ceramic Judaica ceremonial objects. Their studio is in Colorado.
